LINK quote [The photo series DOLLS by Torsten Solin covers representations of attractive, lascivious made up young women in charming, attention-seeking posture - who carry an animal body around the neck, between the bosom or around the shoulder - like a feather-decoration. The boundless beauty of these creatures mates directly with the glamour of beauty; is the irresistible charisma real or artificial intensified?].

as for artifical intesification, the eyes have definetely been photoshopped for size in most cases.
ReplyDeleteor is he just using a strange lense and make up? I'm confused now.
ReplyDeletegood stuff, either way.
The big eyes stuff etc... reminds me also the Margaret Keane's works...
ReplyDeleteEckart: this is not all make- up and lenses, there's been some major photoshopping here- and not only on their faces, but their bodies as well. That is why these girls seem so strange and unreal. (I don't really KNOW this, I'm just making an educated guess :P )
