Initially, she just wanted to make microstrings for her own use, but they were rapidly discovered by girlfriends, and their friends in turn. Since then, the aSS-collection has grown and found its way to proud girls all over the world. Maria designs only what she would like to wear herself and sews every ordered piece* personally. Although a one-woman-enterprise, she is assisted by her husband Pascal, who does the graphic design for aSS and helps out by doing other small jobs].
