Japan Rope & Bondage Tutorials

LINK quote [Hemp rope is the traditional material of Japanese Rope Bondage. It's the first thing a kinbakushi (bondage master) reaches for when binding someone. And for good reason. Finished hemp has the perfect balance of textures - both rough and soft - a sensual treat that dovetails ideally into the form, function, and underlying philosophies of bondage. The pleasant, grassy aroma is a delight to inhale. Hemp rope doesn't stretch like braided nylon or polypropylene. And it holds a knot remarkably well. If you like to tie, or be tied, quickly - hemp also has a lower tendency to produce "rope burn" than synthetics].

  1. Very nice link. I like that they have a tutorial. It's a shame "designer" rope is so expensive. The cotton rope from the hardware store does me fine.
