Rube Goldberg

I'm always been a fan of Rube Goldberg Machines! You can see Goldberg’s original drawings at the Rube Goldberg website. Though Goldberg never intended his machines to work, many people have since built fully functional Rube Goldberg machines that you can watch on YouTube.

A Rube Goldberg contraption – an elaborate set of arms, wheels, gears, handles, cups and rods, put in motion by balls, canary cages, pails, boots, bathtubs, paddles and live animals – takes a simple task and makes it extraordinarily complicated".
