Giuseppe Palmisano, Also known as iosonopipo, was born in November 1989, in Apulia, a Southern region of Italy. His whole life is a theatrical play, and when he graduates, he moves in Rome to pursue his dream – he wants to become an actor – and he makes his dream come true. He moves through eleven houses, five different towns, nine cohabitations. Currently Pipo directs a concerts agency, he lives in Bologna, and he is fullfilling his photography research.

If I look at myself in the mirror my reflection seems yellow, it is as if I have lived before and I returned back in time to gather the stories of the people living today, consoling them that they are still living as we lived yesterday. The same love, the same pain, the same thoughts…infinitely.

Naked Selfies, a performance by Milo Moiré

Milo Moiré’s performance series NAKED SELFIES thematize and caricature the pop-cultural mass phenomenon of self-portraits in social media. The artist take selfies with passersby using her remote-controlled camera mounted on a tripod, contrary to the others Milo Moiré is naked. In contrast to “PLOPEGG PAINTING PERFORMANCE – A Birth of a Picture”, which was performed during the ART COLOGNE 2014, this work requires interaction.

“The people who take a nude selfie with me actually disclose something about themselves, present themselves to the world with a statement. Through this physical, bodily interaction between me as a self-exposing avatar and the people wanting a selfie, I want to establish a point of contact between the real and the digital revelation of intimacy. A new meta-level of self-staging emerges“, Moiré says.

Milo Moiré (born 1983) is a Swiss artist and model known for her nude performances and the use of her body in her art. Moiré was born in Switzerland, of Slovak and Spanish origin, but works from Düsseldorf, Germany.

Free The Nipple

Inspired by true events, Free The Nipple follows a group of young women who take to the streets of New York City topless, to protest the archaic censorship laws in the United States. Activist Liv and With set out to start a movement and change the system through publicity stunts and graffiti installations while armed with First Amendment lawyers. The film explores the contradictions in our media-dominated society, where acts of violence and killing are glorified, while images of a woman’s body are censored by the FCC and the MPAA. What is more obscene: Violence or a Nipple?


Free The Nipple has become a “real life” equality movement that’s sparked a national dialogue. Famous graffiti artists, groups of dedicated women, and influencers such as Miley Cyrus, Liv Tyler, and Lena Dunham have shown public support which garnered international press and created a viral #FreeTheNipple campaign. quote [I began this project in the fall of 2012, having read Denise Brennan's book, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, an ethnography of sex workers in a small resort town on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Built upon global inequity, Sosúa is paradoxically a place where women exert much agency and control over their lives. The stories Brennan tells of the women who move to Sosúa to pursue sex work – mostly internal migrants from Santo Domingo – paint a picture not of passive victims of circumstance but of women pragmatically carrying out plans to improve their lives and the lives of their children.
The first half of the series portrays the women at work, inhabiting their professional personas, projecting the promise of sex. Over time, they spoke with me about their lives outside work, how they arrived in Sosúa, their weekly routine of sending remittances home to support their children. As I got to know two of the women better, they gave me access to their everyday lives – their non-performance time – and I photographed them where they lived and out and about during their off-hours].
