A Miniature Calendar by Tatsuya Tanaka

Miniature Calendar is an amazing project by Tatsuya Tanaka, Art Director, Designer and Miniature Photographer.
quote [Broccoli and parsley might sometimes look like a forest, or the tree leaves floating on the surface of the water might sometimes look like little boats. Everyday occurrences seen from a pygmy’s perspective can bring us lots of fun thoughts. I wanted to take this way of thinking and express it through photographs, so I started to put together a “MINIATURE CALENDAR” These photographs primarily depict diorama-style figures surrounded by daily necessaries. Just like a standard daily calendar, the photos are updated daily on my website and SNS page, earning it the name of “MINIATURE CALENDAR”].

Hand Job Karaoke and Masturbation Games

In Japan, an original version of the show "Sing what happens" (Killer Karaoke) broadcasts on a premium channel and adult BS Sky cable! In this program, several candidates must sing a song they learned by heart and not to be distracted by the young lady who is beside them and is masturbating them, sometimes with his hands, sometimes using his feet.
But also in Taiwan you thers's something similar. So, don't miss the "Hang chicken competition"... if you can "handle it..".

Paintings for Ants by Lorraine Loots

quote [Potluck 100 | Paintings for Ants is a project by Cape Town-based miniaturist painter Lorraine Loots. The project follows on 2013's 365 Paintings for Ants and 2014's 365 Postcards for Ants.

A collection of 100 miniatures are to be painted throughout 2015. These will be painted over 25 weeks, on themed days, namely: Microcosm Mondays, Tiny Tuesdays, Fursdays and Free Fridays. The weeks will be announced randomly as the year goes along, the dates of the paintings thus becoming the "potluck" element.

All 100 original paintings will be auctioned on Instagram, framed in raw wood and exhibited, before being sent to their owners in February 2016. A limited edition of 10 prints will be released for each of the 100 paintings. The prints will be released later in the year].

Xue Wang Artwork

Xue Wang was born in northern China in 1980, the year of the mischievous monkey. Painting and drawing, playing around with ideas, juxtaposing images and allowing her imagination free reign have all helped guide her development. The self-reflective intimacy of art, which has always been latent in her, forced Xue's transition from fashion to painting. Blog + Facebook.

quote "My creative impulse is driven by a fascination with childhood paraphernalia: dolls, toys, fairy tales, stage sets, fun fairs, found objects mixed with whimsy. These personal recollections are complimented by the cultural heritage of Victoriana, vintage fashion, film iconography, pin-up imagery etc. We cannot escape the past and our sweet yesterdays, whether imagined or real, are my repository".

Teletubbies mashup + Joy Division

A mashup video editing by Christopher G. Brown who stripped and replaced the original Teletubbies music with Joy Division's "Atmosphere". The results are horrifying - and hysterical at the same time. Enjoy if you can!

Free The Nipple

Inspired by true events, Free The Nipple follows a group of young women who take to the streets of New York City topless, to protest the archaic censorship laws in the United States. Activist Liv and With set out to start a movement and change the system through publicity stunts and graffiti installations while armed with First Amendment lawyers. The film explores the contradictions in our media-dominated society, where acts of violence and killing are glorified, while images of a woman’s body are censored by the FCC and the MPAA. What is more obscene: Violence or a Nipple?

Free The Nipple has become a “real life” equality movement that’s sparked a national dialogue. Famous graffiti artists, groups of dedicated women, and influencers such as Miley Cyrus, Liv Tyler, and Lena Dunham have shown public support which garnered international press and created a viral #FreeTheNipple campaign. The issues we’re addressing are equal rights for men and women, a more balanced system of censorship, and legal rights for all women to breastfeed in public. Twitter and Facebook.

quote [Free The Nipple is a film, an equality movement, and a mission to empower women across the world. We stand against female oppression and censorship, both in the United States and around the globe. Today, in the USA it is effectively ILLEGAL for a woman to be topless, breastfeeding included, in 35 states. In less tolerant places like Louisiana, an exposed nipple can take a woman to jail for up to three years and cost $2,500 in fines. Even in New York City, which legalized public toplessness in 1992, the NYPD continues to arrest women. We’re working to change these inequalities through film, social media, and a grassroots campaign].

Suds and Smiles by Samantha Fortenberry

quote [US-based photographer Samantha Fortenberry created the ongoing series Suds and Smiles for which she portrayed different types of people in a bathtub. She asked her subjects to collect an array of items that mean something to them or she designed them a set based on an idea of their choosing. With the series, she also wanted to display the nude human body in a natural and beautiful way. Fortenberry states: "I want to collect a wide variety of people in all shapes and sizes to display the various form of beauty each person has"].

Mind-Bending Photography by Erik Johansson

quote [Erik Johansson is a Swedish-born artist based in Berlin who creates surreal images by recombining photographs and other materials. He captures ideas by combining images in new ways to create what looks like a real photograph, yet with logical inconsistencies to impart an effect of surrealism. Some finished images are the combination of "hundreds of original photographs" as well as raw materials, and Johansson spends dozens of hours using image manipulation software such as Adobe Photoshop to alter the image digitally and to illustrate his idea]. A Love Story as seen from above

Me and You by london-based director Jack Tew is short film about a couple that was shot entirely from above.
quote [The clip offers a voyeuristic aerial view of a couple’s relationship, as it unfolds over the course of seven minutes. We can watch the young love blossom, from a movie date over the first time they have sex until the heartbreaking end. Seems like Jack Tew is pretty disillusioned with love. Though it's still very nicely done and probably happened like that many times around the world. You can watch a Making Of here].

Tree Change Dolls

Tree Change Dolls is a project about taking old discarded toys and giving them a new lease on life, cerated by an artist, illustrator and science communicator based in Hobart, Tasmania. Facebook.

quote: "...these dolls have been rescued and rehabilitated from op-shops and tip shops around Tasmania. These lil fashion dolls have opted for a "tree change", swapping high-maintenance glitz 'n' glamour for down-to-earth style. I hand repaint the dolls faces, mold new shoes, and my Mum sews and knits their clothing. My sisters and I grew up playing with second-hand dolls and home-made toys in the beautiful Tasmanian natural environment. I love the satisfaction of repairing and reusing discarded items to give them a new lease on life".

The Periodic Table of Kink

quote [Brilliant! Hilarious! Unless you’re in the UK… I’m so sorry, UK. Certain people in your government appear to defy Darwinism. Still, UberKinky’s [UK] Government Approved Periodic Table of Kink (large image) is really fun.
(via Violet Blue)

UberKinky explains it best:

On Tuesday 1 December, the Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 introduced a series of restrictions on the pornography produced and sold in the UK. Now video on demand must adhere to the same strict criteria as DVDs, movies and TV shows. As a result, a number of sexual acts have been deemed too ‘harmful’ or ‘dangerous’ for us to watch, and have thus been banned from our screens altogether (if produced/provided in the UK). The UK is now subject to some of the most severe content restrictions in Europe.

(…) Now, with the new pornographic laws in place, we decided to update our UberKinky Periodic Table of Kink to reflect this. So Check out our all new Government Approved Periodic Table of Kink today and find out which of your favourite fetishes have been outlawed!

Remember; it’s better to educate than regulate…

“Pornography is the canary in the coalmine of free speech: it is the first freedom to die. If this assault on liberty is allowed to go unchallenged, other freedoms will fall as a consequence.” - Myles Jackman, legal adviser for Backlash.
